Brian Matuszewski, ARI’s manager of sustainable strategies, is the newest featured contributor to Fleet Management Weekly. His monthly blog – “The Sustainable Fleet” – discusses strategies to help fleet managers establish sustainable practices. The first article in the series titled, “Your First Step Towards Developing a More Sustainable Fleet? Planning,” helps fleet managers understand where to begin when launching green and sustainable initiatives within their organization.
As ARI’s sustainability manager, Matuszewski directs the company’s sustainable fleet management consulting efforts, which include counseling and managing the sustainable fleet needs of ARI’s clients. Matuszewski also manages all aspects of ARI’s internal sustainability programs and initiatives, including the company’s waste mitigation and energy efficiency efforts. Prior to ARI, he helped develop a public policy fleet renewal program for the State of Puebla, Mexico while working in Mexico City for a sustainability consulting firm.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations and an M.P.A in Environmental Policy: Sustainable Enterprise Strategy from Cornell University. In 2013, he was named among Green Fleet magazine’s Sustainability All-Stars.
